1 What is Joget DX?

​Joget DX is a commercial open source platform to easily build enterprise web apps and automate processes. The Community Edition is fully open source and free to use, distribute or modify according to the GPL license.

2 What is Joget DX On-Demand?

Joget DX On-Demand is a subscription based service that offers Joget DX Enterprise Edition to small businesses on the Cloud. 

It is an application platform as a service (aPaaS) that allows users to create their own workflow apps or database driven apps with or without programming knowledge. Alternatively, they can make use of the ready made simple apps such as employee self service portal, expenses, invoicing, etc. for their own use, or as template to build new ones.

3 What is Joget Cloud Managed Services?

Joget Cloud Managed Services is targeted at customers who want to outsource their Joget DX infrastructure for an end-to-end solution. With Joget Cloud, you are ensured of an integrated cloud platform that supports your needs for application management and maintenance.

Customers may bring their own Joget DX license, or purchase from our partners, and apply the license to this service.

4 How Many Apps Or Workflows Can I Build When Subscribed To Joget DX On-Demand?

For the Standard package, it will be a 20-Apps limit, and for the Starter package, it will be a 10-Apps limit. 

5 How Do I Backup And Export My Apps?

To backup and export your Apps, please refer to our Knowledge Base.

6 How can I access On-Demand database?

For Starter and Standard On-Demand packages, database access is not allowed due to security reasons as the server is shared in a multi-tenancy setup.

In order to get database access, you will need to upgrade to On-Demand Dedicated Server package.

7 Are There Any Joget DX Documentation, User Guides or Video Tutorials?

You can access the Joget DX documentation from our Knowledge Base, and the tutorial videos are located on YouTube.

8 Where Can I Get Some More Joget DX Apps?

9 What Are The Default Apps That Come With Each Joget DX On-Demand Instance?

Each instance of Joget DX On-Demand comes with 5 apps by default. They are Employee Services Portal app, HR Expenses Claim app, Internal Service Request app, Customer Relationship Management and DX Showcase.

10 How Do I Cancel My Joget DX On-Demand Subscription?

To cancel your your Joget DX On-Demand subscriptions, you will need to log in to your PayPal account. Navigate to your "My preapproved payments" page. Under "Merchant" column select and click on the relevant merchant. In the merchant billing page, select "Cancel" to cancel the subscription profile.

Be warned that after you cancelled, your site will not be accessible immediately after that. Please ensure that you have backup or exported your apps before cancelling.

11 How Do I Increase My Storage Space?

​To increase your storage space, please increase the subscribed user number to match your storage requirements.

12 Where Can I Get Community Support?

Please proceed to this forum for Joget DX On-Demand Community Support. You will need to register an account in the Community site to post your support questions.

13 Where Can I Get Enterprise Support With SLA?

If you are a Joget DX On-Demand "Standard", “Dedicated” or Joget Cloud Managed Services package subscriber, a dedicated support account will be created for you. You will be able to access an online system to report and track your issues. Please refer to SLA for details.

14 How Can I Get A Billing Statement Of My Joget DX On-Demand Subscription?

​For now, all billing statement will be track in your PayPal Account. Please login to your PayPal account and access the report area to generate your billing statement.

15 What Are Copy-Protected Apps?

Copy-protected apps are apps that are developed on Joget DX Enterprise and protected against unauthorized copying or unlicensed use. The owner of the apps can sign and lock the app to be used only under the owner's activated license. More info.

16 Where Can I Download A Joget DX Mobile App?

Joget DX mobile app for iOS and Android is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Learn more here.

17 Can I Setup A Custom Domain Name On Joget DX On-Demand?

Currently, seamless custom domain (E.g. www.mydomain.com, etc.) setup is not available yet. If you have subscribed to the Joget DX On-Demand Standard, Dedicated or Joget Cloud Managed Services Package and you would like to setup your custom domain, please email us at support [@] joget.org.

18 Does Joget DX On-Demand Support Secure Socket Layer (SSL)?

Yes, SSL or Secure Socket Layer is fully supported by default on all the Joget DX On-Demand sites. The 128 bit SSL Certificate is issued by GoDaddy or Let’s Encrypt. Just change your URL path to start with "https://".

19 How Is Subscription Payment Made?

Joget DX On-Demand uses PayPal to handle all our payment transactions and subscriptions. You will require a PayPal account to subscribe.

20 How Do I Migrate My Joget DX On-Demand Site Data To On-Premise?

After you have set up your Joget DX On-Premise server, you can send in an email to request for "JWOD Data Migration Service" and give consent to the JWOD Team to copy and zip all your data to be emailed (or transferred electronically) to you.
